Hello everyone. I have beaten sekiro, bloodborne, and now demon’s souls. But I haven’t touched the faith stat. I played a strength/skill build in bloodborne, a magic build for the first run in demon souls, and sekiro doesn’t have stats. I understand that faith strengthens miracles, but what would a faith build look like?

I ran a faith build using the Mirdan Hammer and blew through the game. (Dropped by the scale miners, or found in 5-2, the Swamp of Sorrow.) The hammer hits hard and has a stun, the health regen was handy and the miracle Evacuate was so useful I try to get it on other builds.At lvl 50 or so, the meat cleaver shreds health bars already, but curious how well that will scale as I level towards the PVP meta. The meat cleaver is traditionally buffed with Light Weapon cast with the Insanity Catalyst, especially for PvP. That is probably it’s biggest advantage over similar strength weapons. Meat Cleaver scaling is very odd.

It is not split between 2 damage types, it is all magic damage. Blocking shields do not stop damage from being inflicted. If 2-handing you can block with it, it has the 2nd highest magic dmg protection % in the game, 80%. Drakeblood Greatsword. Mace of the Insolent. Heide Knight Sword. Heide Knight Spear. Heide Knight Lance. Dragonslayer's Crescent Axe. Clouds, water veil, warding, and cloak are all useful spells that don't rely upon having a high MAG. A little bit of offensive magic (soul arrow, etc.) also works wonders in worlds 1 + 2, even with low MAG. You may also want to consider 18 INT for three spells slots so you can use cursed weapon (see below).
