For the future, about the +2, CD started being a +2 popular choice in KR, maybe as a surge you could try sight focus+2.I think its weird to push for 5x3+1 with ancients any time soon unless you really want the dps increase from a level 1 engraving. At some point 5x3 with higher quality would probably be better than a +1 with worse quality especially compared to Ether Predator which has low value in quick fights (takes long to ramp even assuming orbs are picked up on spawn).
