Monteverde was the one restaurant my co-worker urged me to try during my trip to Chicago, and as a fellow foodie, I knew I had to make the trek no matter how inconvenient or difficult. The interior is beautiful. It has that dark vibe that a lot of Italian restaurants have, but we came around 12pm so there was also a lot of light shining in.
