Remington SP20 wads Trying out different hulls with a 1oz wad SP20, so far all the loads I have shot are working good with Herco.This morning a went out to a frozen pond and shot at cattail heads with #6 chilled shot,and Federal hulls.At 30 -40 yards I blew the brown tops off.Shotgun has full choke.Thats my story and I'm sticking to it! ...

I have destroyed a couple birds at 20 yards with them, and recovered one SP20 that broke and shuttlecocked with a lot of pellets in it. Not much left of that breast. I'm new to the 20ga myself. I have been using both the Remington and Winchester hulls, wads and primers with Hodgdon International Clays. I have a MEC 600JR press. It seems to like the combination of AA hull and the WAA20 wad. The crimps are perfect and the AA hull seems to last a long time. I do plan to try the Federal Gold Medal some day.Wads I have available are WAA20F1 and SP20. I only have Win 209 primers on hand. I might also ask if anyone thinks these are not worth reloading.
