VisArts presents NextGen 7.0, a juried group exhibition that showcases next generation aspiring artists 17 to 27 years of age from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.The annual exhibition offers young artists, who have little to no exhibition record, the opportunity to bring their work to a wider audience. As a nonprofit organization, part of our mission is to make sure that such experiences are accessible to everyone in our community. In the past year, VisArts invested $215,108 in our community through free classes and community programs, discounts, scholarships, artist stipends, discounted studio space, support for VisAbility Art Lab, and more. Clay must be purchased from VisArts. We have a variety of clay bodies available (the exact list changes occasionally based on availability from our supplier.) We usually have the following clays: Standard Clay 553 (Light Grey), Standard Clay 266 (Dark Brown), Standard Clay 308 (Brooklyn Red), Little Loafers (White), and B-Mix (White). SECOND FRIDAYS.
